My alabaster box

Christian Blog By Keilani Mayo

Why do I have to live? Not for myself alone, but so that my breath becomes an answer to someone else’s prayer. I live because God has written purpose into my days, even when I don’t yet understand the ink. I write because I was created to steward words, to guard the Gospel, and to honor the sacred craft of writing in a world that rushes to replace devotion with automation. What flows from me is not manufactured—it is given. And I will not surrender what only the Lord can place in human hands.

Black-and-white photo of a woman smiling thoughtfully while seated at a restaurant booth, resting her chin on her hand. A small lit candle stands in front of a dessert on the table, with a glass of water nearby. Soft lighting and other diners appear blurred in the background, creating a calm, intimate atmosphere.
