I wrote a story post on instagram earlier today because it was heavy to write about. I can sense this spirit of fear – especially in California. It is really sad to see because the more and more people I encounter on a daily basis, I hear the common phrase “I’m scared” or “I am fearful.”
It saddens me, because the spirit inside of me is saying otherwise! Instead of fear, I have freedom to live because I go to the source of Life – Jesus! I am not scared of sickness, because no matter what I believe I am healed and protected by the blood of Jesus. Jesus died so he can bear what people can never overcome on their own.
I am writing this to rebuke any ounce of fear that is clouding the vision you have! When we are blinded by fear we have clouded vision. We don’t have true clarity or any hope of the future. With that being said, how can we have a hopeful future when we are fearful of the present? So many people want change, but are scared of what is happening.
When we start to feel fear creeping in, we have to counter with faith! When we have faith, we renounce the fear that is trying to stop us from going forward.
In my post, I wrote how people see my family and they question how we are able to stay afloat amidst a pandemic. People see my family and they question why we are still joyful in the midst of a global pandemic, despite losing multiple loved ones within one year. The answer is easy – Jesus!
We don’t allow the fear of the enemy to stop what God has planned/is planning. God continues to give us hope for a future! When we have hope, there is a spirit of joy that radiates from the inside out.
There is light in the midst of the darkness when we choose freedom.
I urge you all to break through the cloud of fear and start running towards freedom. Break the cycle, and gather the courage to stand firm in faith and hope. Let it be the guide and pillar to get you through these times.
I hope this encourages someone today. Don’t bow down to fear.
I also think it is very timely that cases and surges of sickness are happening during the beginning of the ‘new year.’ It is distracting the goals and vision people are planning for themselves. The season of people wanting to change and break barriers and start new, there is a distraction of fear and deception countering their vision. Those who are free from fear still have the vision and are moving forward with their life. Don’t succumb to fear and be stuck – keep prowling forward with your life and experience the freedom to live out your God given purpose.

Father God, I pray for the reader on the other side of the screen! I renounce any fear creeping inside of them and I pray for freedom to enter their hearts and mind. Cover them with your precious blood, in which you died on the cross for, so we will be able to experience Life. I pray for clarity to come over their life and for seeds of vision to be planted in their hearts. I pray for their eyes to be opened to the deception of this world and for discernment to enter their lives. I pray for the blog to encourage and to fulfill your purpose. I pray it will reach those who need to hear it. In Jesus Name, Amen.
