I am sitting at a coffee shop, doing my daily devotion and prayer time. Recently, I have challenged myself to start praying for the body of Christ, and more specifically over this generation. As I finished reading through Daniel 5, and writing in my journal, I felt led to take the keyboard and start writing.
I felt an urgency from the Holy Spirit to write this blog and I pray for the Spirit to be all over this blog and to speak through the words. I pray whoever reads this will feel encouraged and will allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them as they scroll through.
I believe there is a strong deceptive spirit covering this generation. As darkness abounds and becomes more and more explicit, the light of His children will shine even brighter and become bolder. However, I feel like the Holy Spirit wants to warn His children about the deceptive spirit that continues to run rampant in this world and it only gets even stronger as darkness takes over and time is going faster.
There is such a strong attack on the mind because there is deception clouding the brains, but the Holy Spirit wants to remind you to stay in the vine! Stay intertwined, so when floods come you won’t rip out of the vine. Stay rooted in the Word and talk scripture over your life! The only way to counterfeit deception is speaking boldly with Truth (thank you, Jesus)!
The spirit of deception is running through this generation as more and more people entertain elements of truth but lack the Spirit. The Holy Spirit wants to remind us all to stay guarded! So many people will be deceived in the last days because they can’t decipher what is Truth. Remember Truth is peace and brings clarity; anything else is counterfeit.
As more and more people proclaim god, know who your God is! Jesus is the name that proclaims and creates the distinction, without the name there is no claim.
“Deception will be the reason why many will fall because they think they know Me, but they don’t know Me. They have an idea of Me, but they don’t know Me. They think they’re talking to Me, but they’re talking to the prince of darkness. Renounce all that is not from Me, and seek Truth. – Holy Spirit” (Thank you, Jesus).
Father God, I pray for the spirit of deception to be lifted in Jesus name. I pray for all those who are drawing near to you, looking for Truth, I pray they will find it in You. I pray for a Holy Spirit covering to be upon the minds of this generation, and they will know light from dark. I pray for this generation to be bold and be quick to fight with their swords (the Bible), to counter any attack from the enemy. I pray for clear vision, purpose, and decisions upon Your children.

Deception is confusion and it briefly separates you from the Source of Life. It creates a facade of truth, but Jesus is not in the midst. Overcome and proclaim the name of Jesus in your life. I say this because I have experienced it and I see it coursing through this generation. Ask for discernment and be mindful of the source of your fruit.
Last year, I entertained the idea of angel numbers because it was “trendy” and it had elements of spirituality but it was far from it! The moment I opened the door of “angel numbers” I opened a door to divination, numerology, and deception. I would see numbers like 333, 222, etc. everywhere and I would look up the meanings and apply it to my life, but it was far from the truth – It was not from God. The more I entertained it, the more I was reliant on it rather than God’s words. The more I seeked the numbers, the more I experienced attacks on my mind. I was confused and anxious all the time, and I have never experienced so much anxiety in my life.
Angel numbers, new age practices, manifestations, and the spirituality trends are deceptive and have elements of the truth but lack Jesus. Friends, this blog is not to condemn, but to warn and encourage. This deceptive spirit is running through the minds of this generation and it’s clouding the vision and purpose God has for them because they are doing it on their own understanding and counterfeit wisdom.
Repent and let Jesus take control. The beauty of Christianity is that although there is so much unknown, we peacefully let God light up our path because He is faithful. He realigns, refines, repurposes, and redefines all those who call on Him.
Thank you, Holy Spirit, for the word today. I give this blog up to you and I pray that whoever reads this blog it is for a reason. I believe it is intentional and purposeful. Bless those who come upon this blog and I renounce any form of counterfeit wisdom and truth, and I pray for the washing of your cleansing blood to fall upon them. I pray for your oil to fill every crevice from head to toe.
